Surely there is no need for top 10. Of everyone i asked last night, everyone would prefer top 6 paid. In views of a poker player coming 10th and winning 5pound, after playing from 8pm-1am is no joy or satisfaction to any player. Why pay top 10 it doesnt make sense?
Then the prize structure goes up in a measly 20pound. Up until 5th when there is a 80 pound leap between 5th and 4th yet only a 20 pound leap between 4th and 3rd?? then a 100 pound leap between 3rd and 2nd then 260pound leap between 2nd and 1st? No consistency at all

I mean i finished 12th last nite and usually when it comes close to finishing in prize money people tighten up, but nobody really cared because the prize money offered for 10th was pointless.

Does anyone think it would have been better structered at 1st 6 and something like this

I wont be playing in any tournaments guaranteed or not guaranteed with structure's like that.

Thats terrible for a major casino to have prize structures like that.
Who on earth makes these decisions? I think they need a proper poker team who only concentrate on poker, who go through the rules, schedule and prize structures etc. Come on folks dont scare people away.


I have to mention about 1 of the dealers last night - oh my god she was terrible.
1st of all i had a marked card so the dealer took a look at the mark and i said to her dont show anyone what the card is. Someone asked her what the card was and she showed him.
2nd was when i was big blind and had AQ, i was wanting to raise preflop but i noticed the dealer was about to do the flop before my option was made so i said wait i have an option but no she carried on.
3rd it takes her 5 minutes to know which hand has actually won, we are all telling her but no she wastes time. Even simple ones like AA and KK all the other cards are low and she still doesnt know wat has won.

I told her you really need to know what your doing and her reply was "I dont need to im just a dealer" i told her you need to control the game and know what your doing, read the rules or it costs us money.

Cheers, please clarify the situation with smoking/no smoking.

It is and has been advertised no smoking, it shud be no smoking imo, because the tables are too small, there at times can be no space at all, and when 6/7 ppl are smoking it can be just too much smoke. Even smokers say the same.

I think it should be no smoking however it does piss me off when people keep getting up during play to have a fag.
