Stars in their Eyes 2008

I would just like to say what a great night of entertainment last night was.

The night started off with Anastacia hosting the show and her remix of Left Outside Alone which got the crowd going.
Next up was Freddie Mercury with his rendition of The Show Must Go On.
Our 3rd act was Birthday Boy Billy who made a scary appearence as Tina Turner.
Then it was down to Billys son Steven who came out as Dolly Parton working 9-5.
Following Dolly was Oh Pretty Woman from Roy Orbison.
This took us then to the other Birthday Boy Ronnie been Robbie Williams Let me Entertain You.
Then when 5 girls became 1 Laurence as he performed Girls Aloud's Love Machine.
The Big glasses came out for Elton John and I'm still standing.
The house became the house of fun for Madness.
Our Final act of the Night i saved to last for our duo Dancing Queen - Abba.

The Judges picked Tina Turner, Robbie Williams and Abba as the Top 3 so they then had to perform there songs once more.

2 Prizes were awarded to the Best Performer decided by the Judges after the sing off and then for Best dressed performer decided by the public.

The winner of best dressed was Robbie Williams (face paint and leatards did it) but Dolly Parton a close 2nd.
The Best Performer and the Title of 2008 Stars in their Eyes Winner was Dunia and Padma as Abba.

They then ended the show to other Abba songs and the party went on.

More of these nights could be on the Agenda in the Future however Sound was the only problem which will need to look into.

Thanks to everyone who turned up and Happy Birthday Billy and Ronnie.

That nite was top class, lets hope they do more.
