We will be expecting a full house for our Christmas Cup Team Poker event, so book early!. The night will kick off with a free drink on arrival & gift from Sanata Tom :). All tables (as allways) will be dealer dealt and prior registration is needed for this event. (see forum for more details). After the main event we will also be holding a turbo Almost freeroll for one seat to the £5000 Guaranteed opening event at the brand new casino, Ocean Village - worth £220 Chrsitmas Cup starts at 8pm Almost Freeroll (£3 buy in) starts at midnight

Team Poker Rules

The tournament will be played as a normal NO LIMIT FREEZE OUT.
The aim of the tournament is to get as many of your “team” onto the final table (8 seats) to win points. These point will be added together to get a “team” score. The team with the most points wins!
Winning team estimated £1000 - (50% of which to be donated to supported charities) so you get £500 to share
2nd team estimated £500 (50% of which to be donated to supported charities)
3rd Team estimated £300 (50% of which to be donated to supported charities)
4th team estimated £200 (50% of which to be donated to supported charities) – PAID IF 20 TEAMS entered
Player Finishing positions Point structure
1st place 125 pts
2nd 100 pts
3rd 80 pts
4th 70pts
5th 60pts
6th 50pts
7th 40pts
8th 30pts
9th – 18th 10pts
19th - 30th 5 pts
It is a TEAM event, so all 4 players added together to get total points
Rules
The house rules, as displayed in the card room, will be effective, along with the following additions.
Collusion – obviously team members will collude against other teams / players – this will just add to the fun.
Cheating – As in any event, telling or signalling to anyone (team mate or not) what hand you have is cheating, and the player will be eliminated for the event. Any chips he current holds will be removed from play. Any points he may have earned will NOT count to the team total
Draw – As normal, this will be random, and hence a number of players from the same team could initially start on the same table. It’s just the luck of the draw!
Announce – When teams are first seated, or a new player joins the table, all players on that table should announce if they are team mates.
Bounty - Gala Casino Team Players will have a "BOUNTY" - this will be announced on the night
DRUNK or RUDE players may be removed from the Casino without warning, - PLEASE BE GOOD :)
